I am the son of the original owners of this house — Marcie and I bought my childhood home from my parents about 20 years ago. This house was built by my parents in 1964 and was designed by Carl Graffunder, a “mid-century modernist architect whose influence from European modernism, Frank Lloyd Wright and Antonin Raymond manifested in many residential and commercial structures mostly in Minnesota” according to Wikipedia. Our family hasn’t made any changes to the house since it was built, with the exception of maintenance items like roof replacements and the like.
