The Farm

Featured in the picture above -- we’re restoring it to the way it was before settlers arrived -- native plants, prairies, wetland, woods.  We put a conservation easement on the place this year.  Click here to see pictures, inventories of plants & animals, and our management plans for the place.

Blogs and Podcasting

Marcie and I both have blogs.  Marcie’s (www.prairie.haven.com) is about the farm, native plant restoration and naturalist type stuff. Mine is www.safe.haven.com And I podcast from Sex and Podcasting Dave Winer invented a lot of the technology that made these possible.
