Fall 2002 -- Planting..  Several things are different.  First, we are planting into corn stubble (and corn herbicide).  And we borrowed a Truax seed drill from the DNR to do the planting.  Much faster planting than our usual by-hand, into-snow seeding aproach, but we're not seeing as good results (at least in the early going - stay tuned for further updates).

July 2003 -- A view of the field just after it's been mowed.  Much different weed mix -- mostly grasses.  Maybe due to different herbicide used on the corn?  Not many prairie plants.
